Intrepid Security & Protection’s state-of-the-art monitoring center is UL approved for both burglar and fire alarm monitoring. In addition to residential and commercial security, our monitoring center is rated to provide services for Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security locations.

We are one of the few security companies that has a backup monitoring center at a different location. Our primary center is located in Irving, Texas and our backup center is located in Aliso Viejo, California. A backup monitoring center is imperative because of uncertainty regarding natural or man-made disasters. In the unlikely event that our primary monitoring center is disabled, our backup center is online and ready to respond.

Automated dispatch software allows our operators to be more efficient and productive. Emergency information regarding your home is instantly available. All phone numbers are automatically dialed by the computer, eliminating misdialing and reducing response time. All phone conversations are recorded for possible future reference. Incoming calls are identified by caller ID and all of your account information is instantly available as soon as our operator answers the phone.

All mission critical aspects of our monitoring centers are fully redundant. Local UPS systems and backup generators provide electricity in case of an area-wide power failure. Redundant telephone service utilizing different telephone companies provides reliable voice communication. Backup computer systems allow uninterrupted operation in the unlikely event of any computer malfunction.
